در اين پست دو تا از مشكلات رايج كاربران زبان در صحبت كردن را آوردم....
Malapropisms
This is the hilarious world of malapropisms, verbal slips and gaffes, Bushisms, Colemanballs, and, of course, Mrs. Malaprop. We all know that when someone misuses a word, the result can induce hysterics, unless of course it is we who have made the blunder, in which case embarrassment it the more likely effect. When an incorrect word is used like this, a malapropism is born. Here is a handful of genuine malapropisms gathered from across the Internet:
• He had to use a fire distinguisher.
• Dad says the monster is just a pigment of my imagination. • Isn't that an expensive pendulum round that man's neck? • Good punctuation means not to be late. • He's a wolf in cheap clothing. • Michelangelo painted the Sixteenth Chapel. • My sister has extra-century perception. • "Don't" is a contraption. • More Funny Malapropisms

یک مطلب در مورد زبانشناسی
What is Etymology?
The word etymology is derived from the Greek etumos which means real or true. The ending ology suggests the study/science of something, as in biology or geology. And that is the etymology of etymology. It is the study of the origins of words; how they evolved. Confused?
Here is another example. The Ancient Greek word hippos means horse. And potamus means river. Hence hippopotamus literally means river horse.
A few other parts of words derived from Ancient Greek are tele (long distance), micro (small), phone (speak), and scope (look). From these come such words as telephone, telescope, microphone, and microscope.
Of course not all words are derived from Ancient Greek. The English language is a rich mixture of many languages, and that is what makes its etymology so interesting. In the Interesting Etymology section you can learn how many words came about, particularly those with amusing origins. We also have a page about the origins of sayings and expressions.
If you are keen to discover more, browse the reviews in the etymology section of our online language bookstore. There are very many excllent books on etymology and dictionaries of etymology available.

How we teach grammar
اما ادامه ی بحث گرامر......چطور گرامر رو درس بدیم......بچه های Teaching
توجه کنند(خصوصا اونایی که مثل من هفته ی آینده باید اجرا داشته باشند..!!).
A third way Hester Lott abandons the top and the bottom and steps
firmly down a middle path. Teaching grammar can be tricky. For many otherwise competent EFL
practitioners, it is scary. Few teachers actually like grammar, or enjoy teaching
it as they enjoy teaching the other 'skills'. I would suggest there are two
reasons for this, one of which relates to the particular history of teachers
educated in the UK.
The other (and the one which concerns me here as I think it is likely to be more
relevant to readers of ETp) lies, I come to believe, in the way grammar is
traditionally regarded by grammarians.

Quotes on
Happiness and Being Happy
Remez
Sasson
Inspiring quotes
and phrases are like vitamins to the soul.
Happiness is within you. When you stop the chatter of the mind and expel your
worries and fears you find out that happiness surfaces from within you.
Happiness is not something far away and unattainable, and its manifestation
does not depend on circumstances.
Happiness is one of the most important treasures. It is within your soul. All
you have to do, is dig it out and enjoy it

از قدیم الایام تا اسم گرامر می اومد واکنش های متفاوتی از افراد در موردش میشد

10 نکته ی جالب در مورد گرامر رو آوردم....شاید یه کم کمکمون کنه بهتر در مورد
گرامر قضاوت کنیم.
Grammar is often misunderstood in the language
teaching field. The misconception lies in the view that grammar is a collection
of arbitrary rules about static structures in the language. Further
questionable claims are that the structures do not have to be taught, learners
will acquire them on their own, or if the structures are taught, the lessons
that ensue will be boring. Consequently, communicative and proficiency-based
teaching approaches sometimes unduly limit grammar instruction. Of the many
claims about grammar that deserve to be called myths, this digest will
challenge ten.... continue.....

Memory,
Imagination and Learning:
Connected
by the Story
There is some ambivalence about the place of
memorization in education. A prominent theme of the progressive movement -- one
that has become a commonplace of modern educational discourse -- is that simply
insuring memorization of knowledge is likely to be educationally useless.
Indeed, an insistent refrain heard today is that knowledge is doubling every x
number of years and that consequently it is increasingly urgent to teach
students how to find the knowledge they want when they want it and to encourage
them to learn how to learn. If we enable students to master such generic skills
as critical thinking, problem solving, and other procedural abilities, we will
be doing something that is more educationally valuable than merely drilling
them in sequences of facts that will be mostly forgotten anyway.............. Continue

Linguistics
What is Linguistics
Linguistics is the scientific study of language. It endeavours to answer the question--what is language and how is represented in the mind? Linguists focus on describing and explaining language and are not concerned with the prescriptive rules of the language (ie., do not split infinitives). Linguists are not required to know many languages and linguists are not interpreters.

امیدوارم سیزده بدر خوش گذشته باشه......درباره ی سیزده بدر چی میدونید؟!
13th Day of Norooz - The story of Sizdah Bedar Please note that there
are many conflicting myths and theories as to the evolution of the Norooz
customs, and our account is by no means intended to be the 'definitive one'. In
fact it is unlikely that we will ever know the exact development of many of
these festivities. What matters is that we enjoy them! The tradition of leaving the house on the
thirteenth (Sizdah) day of Farvardin, the last day of the Norooz period, and
spending that day outside with joy, laughter and pleasure has been in practice
since ancient times in Iran. This is the last phase of the celebrations of the

Why learn English
سوالی که برا همه پیش میاد....خصوصا بچه های زبان که این سوال همیشه

Learning to speak English well may be the best thing you can do to improve your life.
That's right. Do you think it would be fun to have access to information that other people can't get? Talk and write letters to interesting people that others can't communicate with? Impress people around you whenever you opened your mouth? Make big jumps in your career, leaving others miles behind?

Are you Listening to the Right People?
If not, WHY NOT?
Friend,
Do you remember
when you were a little kid; you probably had a
lot of goals and
dreams like I did, and you wanted to accomplish them right?
The BAD NEWS is that
we let a lot of toxic people talked us out of them and we ended up
accomplishing very few.
I realized that
to become successful, I had to stop pleasing others. I had to start pleasing
only 1 person… ME!! And stop listening to toxic people.
My problem was
that I was listening to the wrong people (TOXIC) I had to learn from people who
had been there, but also are successful.
Please do me a
favor, as you read this Friend , I want you to print this quote, or write it
down, whatever makes it easier, and I want you to put it in a place you visit a
lot, so you can see it. It can be the mirror in your restroom (one thing I did,
I put it in front of the toilet seat) or anywhere where you can see it!! (Your
computer monitor) and really read it and practice it.
“I will never again,
listen to anybody who is more messed up than I am.”
Please do it.
We do this mistake over and over and over. If you want to buy a house, there’s
always the person who tells you “Don’t buy your house right now, house prices
are dropping, or it’s not a good time to buy,” or whatever the case might be.
Don’t listen!!!
Listen to successful people, people who have done it. People who you respect
and admire.
I want to give
you 4 Highly Effective Steps to start creating your path towards success.
Follow them and
start pleasing yourself. Don’t worry about what people think. At the end you
will be the only who will either be satisfied with the end result, or you can
change your path at any time. Make this the last time you listen to somebody
who is more messed up than you.
Ready? Here we
go…
1. Make the
Decision to be Successful! … Success is not an accident; you make your own
success by what you do or failed to do.
2. Learn the
Inner Game… In order to be successful, you have to understand that first you
have to become successful in your mind. Your mind is a toolbox, and like any
other toolbox, you have to keep your tools clean and ready to work for you.
3. Set
Reachable Goals… If you don’t have any goals, it will be very hard to succeed.
Setting goals is one of the most important things you need to do to be
successful. It will be your road map of where you want to go.
Write down your
Goals, yearly, monthly and weekly. Break your goals into little action steps,
and celebrate as you accomplish every single one of them.
4. Action…
Don’t waste time trying to figure out the best way or the fastest way, if you
want to be Successful, there are no shortcuts!!!
Finally, DO IT
NOW!!!
Don’t wait,
don’t say “Oh I’ll start Monday, or I’ll start on the first, etc.” Start NOW!!
DO IT NOW!!!
Success don’t
wait.
“Remember it’s
better to be weird and rich, than cool and broke.”

The sun is sleeping quietly
Once upon a century
Wistful oceans calm and red
Ardent caresses laid to rest
For my dreams I hold my life
For wishes I behold my night
The truth at the end of time
Losing faith makes a crime
I wish for this night-time
to last for a lifetime
The darkness around me
Shores of a solar sea
Oh how I wish to go down with the sun
Sleeping
Weeping
With you
Sorrow has a human heart
From my god it will depart
I'd sail before a thousand moons
Never finding where to go
Two hundred twenty-two days of light
Will be desired by a night
A moment for the poet's play
Until there's nothing left to say
I wish for this night-time
to last for a lifetime
The darkness around me
Shores of a solar sea
Oh how I wish to go down with the sun
Sleeping
Weeping
With you
I wish for this night-time
to last for a lifetime
The darkness around me
Shores of a solar sea
Oh how I wish to go down with the sun
Sleeping
Weeping
With you

قدرت و صلابت يك مرد
The strength of a man
The strength of a man isn't seen in the width of his shoulders
It is seen in the width of his arms that encircle you
قدرت و
صلابت يه مرد در پهن بودن شونه هاش نيست
بلکه
در اين هست که چقدر ميتوني به اون تکيه کني و اون ميتونه تو رو حمايت کنه
The strength of a man isn't in the deep tone of his voice
It is in the gentle words he whispers
قدرت و
صلابت يه مرد اين نيست که چقدر بتونه صداش رو بلند کنه
بلکه
در اينه که چه جملات ملايمي رو ميتونه تو گوشات زمزمه کنه
The strength of a man isn't how many buddies he has
It is how good a buddy he is with his kids
قدرت و
صلابت يه مرد به اين نيست که چند تا رفيق داره
بلکه
در اين هست که چقدر با فرزندان خودش رفيق هست
The strength of a man isn't in how respected he is at work
It is in how respected he is at home
قدرت و
صلابت يه مرد به اين نيست که چه قدر در محيط کار قابل احترام هست
بلکه
در اين هست که چقدر در منزل مورد احترام هست
The strength of a man isn't in how hard he hits
It is in how tender he touches
قدرت و
صلابت يه مرد به اين نيست که چقدر دست بزن داره
بلکه
به اين هست که چه دست نوازشگري ميتونه داشته باشه
The strength of a man isn't how many women he's Loved by
It is in can he be true to one woman
قدرت و
صلابت يه مرد به اين نيست که چند تا زن عاشقشن
بلکه
به اين هست تنها عشق واقعي يه زن باشه
The strength of a man isn't in the weight he can lift
It is in the burdens he can understand and overcome
قدرت و
صلابت يه مرد به اين نيست که چه وزنه سنگيني رو ميتونه بلند کنه
بلکه
بستگي به مسائل و مشکلاتي داره که از پس حل اونا بر بياد
Beauty of a Woman
زيبايي
يك زن
The beauty of a woman Is not in the clothes she wears... The figure she carries
Or the way she combs her hair
زيبايي
يه زن به لباسهايي که پوشيده... ژستي که گرفته
و يا
مدل مويي که واسه خودش ساخته نيست
The beauty of a woman must be seen from her eyes
Because that is the doorway to her heart, The place where love resides
زيبايي
يه زن بايد از چشماش ديده بشه
به
خاطر اين که چشماش دروازه ي قلبش هستند، جايي که منزلگه عشق ميتونه باشه
The beauty of a woman Is not in a facial mole
But true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul
زيبايي
يه زن به خط و خال صورتش نيست
بلکه
زيبايي واقعي يه زن انعکاس در روحش داره
It is the caring that she lovingly gives
The passion that she shows
The beauty of a woman
With passing years-only grows
محبت و
توجهي که عاشقانه ابراز ميکنه
هيجاني
که در زمان ديدار از خودش بروز ميده
زيبايي
يک زن هست
چيزي
که با گذشت ساليان متمادي افزايش پيدا ميکنه

این اولین پست آموزشی امسال هست. مشکلی که معلم ها دارند..... با دانش آموزانشون دوست بشن یا نه؟!؟!؟ چون هرکدوم معایب و مزایایی داره .... این مقاله این مشکل رو حل کرده.
I. INTRODUCTION
Every teacher is
constantly searching for effective ways to reach his students. This is
undoubtedly a great challenge, especially if students are teenagers with varied
interests and an eagerness to experience original, creative ways of learning
every minute. Facilitating memorable learning instances has always been our
goal as teachers, no matter how long one has been in the field or what
methodologies one has experimented with. In recent years, content-based
instruction has become one of the answers to this quest for high-quality
education. In addition, educating in values contributes to the enhancement of
any educational program seeking an integral formation of the whole person.
Therefore, I have tried to find ways of integrating these two aspects into my
teaching. The following is an example of how I developed a thematic unit around
the topic of friendship, in order to celebrate Friendship Day with my teenage
students last August.................................

LOVE starts with a SMILE , grows with a KISS, and ends with a TEAR
ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ
DON'T cry over anyone who won't cry over you
ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ
Good FRIENDS are hard to find, harder to leave, and impossible to forget
ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ
You can only go as far as you push
ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ
ACTIONS speak louder than words
ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ
The HARDEST thing to do is watch the one you love, love somebody else
ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ
DON'T let the past hold you back, you're missing the good stuff
ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ
LIFE'S SHORT. If you don't look around once in a while you might miss it
ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ
Some people make the world SPECIAL just by being in it
ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ
BEST FRIENDS are the siblings ِAllah
didn't give us
ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ
When it HURTS to look back, and you're SCARED to look ahead, you can look beside
you and your BEST FRIEND will be there
ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ
TRUE FRIENDSHIP "NEVER" ENDS, Friends are FOREVER
ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ
Good friends are like STARS You don't always see them, but you know they are
ALWAYS
THERE
ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ
DON'T frown. You never know who is falling in love with your smile
ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ
?What do you do when the only person who can make you stop crying is the person
who made you cry
ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ
Nobody is perfect until you fall in love with them
ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ
Everything is okay in the end. If it's not okay, then it's not the end

And a
beginning in another way …
I love my
"Blue Sky", and the "ZABIH",
I'll be with them.
But maybe
sometimes I should be different as well, to appreciate the
Persian-language
Aryan of my homeland.
And my
belief that beauty and magnificence of my mother tongue is
not
sometime interpretable deservingly.
And to
congratulate spring's colorful and fragrant arrival,
And what
I've asked of green nature, under this blue sky…
Hello Antares! Happy
Birthday!
*****

Spring has
Sprung You don’t have to look far to see signs of spring.
From the budding of the trees and the warming of the temperatures to the
animals coming out of their winter hideouts, there seems to be a promise of new
birth and color in the springtime air. The first day of spring is around March 20
or 21, depending on what day the vernal equinox occurs. This is when the sun
sits directly above the equator on its apparent trip northward. Of course
this sun isn’t moving; Earth is. As Earth revolves around the sun, the top
half, called the Northern Hemisphere, becomes tilted more toward the sun as
winter turns to spring. Meanwhile the bottom half, the Southern
Hemisphere, becomes tilted more away from the sun. The beginning of
spring for us is the beginning of autumn for people in Australia and the southern parts of Africa and South America | |
