You and I do make the difference

If each drop of water were to say :

One drop does not make an ocean,

There would be no sea.

If each note of music were to say :

Each note does not make a symphony,

There would be no melody.

If each word were to say :

One word does not make a library,

There would be no book.

If each brick were to say :

One brick does not make a wall,

There would be no house.

If each seed were to say :

One seed does not make a field,

There would be no harvest.

If each of us were to say :

One person does not make the difference,

There would never be love and peace on earth.

You and I do make the difference.

Begin today and make the difference.

Happy Teacher's Day

The Teacher

The teacher taught; the
Pupils never bought the notion.
Now distraught, he
Slammed the door,
Stomped the floor.
The noise, the
Whole commotion,
Brought the Head.

‘You’re off to bed without a drink! ’
He boomed.
‘Cripes’ the teacher cried.
‘You mean that I’m denied
My nightly bottle?
My comfy whisky?
I’m afraid
I’ll have throttle you –
Risky, true –
To see you dead! ’

By now the kids had left the room –
They were smoking,
Drunken, singing in the bogs.
‘Bloody dogs – all of them! ’
The teacher screamed,
Dropping the Head –
His face completely cyanotic;
The situation now chaotic.

‘That’ll do’ the teacher laughed,
‘Yes I’m daft – but I’m alive
To teach again – survive the bitter
Challenges, laying down the
Lesson to the brats.
For I’m the boss – they’re the rats!
I’ll make them take exams
In late of night – what a fright
They’ll have. But first I’ll round ‘em up to
To shift the Head.’

They dumped him in the garden shed
In which the janitor stored the mower
And other paraphernalia
Used to keep the grounds in order.
The kids were good – no disorder
While they did the master’s evil deed.

The teacher smiled – he’d been freed
From persecution, diminution
Of his rank – a lowly grade
Of scholar.
‘Thank you, pupils,
What an honour, now the Head has gone, ’
He claimed.

‘But now I have to see to your
Extinction too. After all, you
Never listen – never do!
And so it’s time for you to earn
A just reward – a trip to Hell! ’

But then the kids were luckily saved –
Yes, you guessed - the clanging bell,
Ending period two. Depraved and
Sweating like a pig, the teacher
Froze – took a swig of gin –
The Deputy Head was coming over.
Teacher had to wipe him out
As well!

The pupils took advantage – scampered,
Screaming. Finely poised, the Deputy
Crooned: ‘What’s the meaning, Teacher–?
And where’s the Head, suspicious creature?
Answers came from Teacher’s cane –
The heavy-duty rod was in attack –
Poor old Deputy staggered back –
A massive blow had shook him badly –
Sadly, as he fell, he bashed his skull
Upon the ground – and that is where
The janitor found his body – what a
Shoddy sight indeed!

But then the pupils realised that
If they called upon the staff
To see the teacher one-to-one,
The kids would end up having fun,
Since all the school would have to close,
As all the staff would come to blows with
Psycho-Sam –
The name the kids had given to this
Strange demented man.

So that is what they did –
The faculty, sequentially,
Exterminated,
The kids were rid of staff, and
Free to roam, though
The teacher lost all interest, and
Drove himself back home.

He sunk a litre bottle of gin,
Sung a song about the sin
Committed – emitting a din –
And bearing hideous grin, he
Wondered where he’d even been
Upon that cold and brutal day.

Back at school, in disarray,
The kids were drunk again,
Smoking, watching adult films –
At least they weren’t a bane
To any staff –
What a laugh!

Happy Teacher's Day

WHY GOD CREATED TEACHERS

When God created teachers,
He gave us special friends
To help us understand His world
And truly comprehend
The beauty and the wonder
Of everything we see,
And become a better person
With each discovery.

When God created teachers,
He gave us special guides
To show us ways in which to grow
So we can all decide
How to live and how to do
What's right instead of wrong,
To lead us so that we can lead
And learn how to be strong.

Why God created teachers,
In His wisdom and His grace,
Was to help us learn to make our world
A better, wiser place.

Spring spring here I come

Spring spring here I come

Spring spring here I come
Just like the fluffy air
Bring me a guitar so I may strum
To the singing of singing everywhere!
I'll be so lighthearted then
With my desires in my eyes
Flying through fancies again
Loosing up winter ties

Yesterdays just got too old
With many a moods I once did share
Easily adjustable twofold
Gusting its March fanfare
La la la! - I'm so glad how its turning
This wheel that's turned on
Desires everlasting yearning
Until the hue is gone

What is so differently with this light?
Into my windows gasping
So there'll be no more lonely night
Into my dreams trespassing
Sweet of you too remember me
Just like those birds singing
I shall be thoughtless and carefree
Together - we'll be happiness stringing!

Sometimes When Whatchamacallit Knocks Melancholy Answers

I am perplexed appalled for I can''t it at all,
Why I ever arrived and cried,
So naive, innocent and forlorn we tried,
The dream age of delight has turned to the slaughter of light,
Flowers in dream of blooming.
Yet brutally nipped in the bud,
We simply utter Lofty words;
Words gilded with beauty and love
The calls to sympathy and humanity in between,
A never-ending line "likes" on and end,
A gap never bridges for short respite,
Thus even the fool can see the rule
Life, a complacent gift, poor ancestors received,
Bequeathed to us with a foolish pride
Are men the puppet of fate?
Starring the play of tears and torment?
And the alien burden of "who am I"?
Foolishly fighting possession battles and wars,
Alas! Oblivious of the funny law,
Elusive wishes at the expense of death.
I wonder this folly has ever paid
The swift steed of gloom is galloping forth
Oh God! Help us stop this unbridled horse!

It's Autumn Again

It's Autumn Again

      It’s autumn again

Leaves whisper the sound of our past

In loss they pay a descent

To the ground we fall

It’s autumn again

Our song is sung by the wind

Echoes of loss and grief

Through chilled air we wade

It’s autumn again

The waters grow as cold as our hearts

We are alike – crusted in ice

In ourselves we freeze

It’s autumn again

Flowers vanish from our sadness

Our beauty grows weak

Covered in frost we wither

It’s autumn again

The rain falls like our tears

Can’t dry our eyes

From the sky we descend

It’s autumn again

The sun shines then fails like us

Our sight becomes a wintry gray

Lost in darkness we will fade

It’s autumn again

Summer

Summer

'Each summer the last summer.' -Denise Levertov, 'Living'

each summer the last summer
the only remembered summer
in retrospect
the one so eagerly
anticipated
& then so uneventful
like a puritan striptease,
a withered erection,
the kentucky derby:
Each summer the summer
most sacred
Each summer the summer
it did not rain so
much the summer before
because Then is turning
to accommodate Now
with small movements like
the fluttering of birds' wings
& every night the world
ends
the way scientists warned us it would;
what is it about
summer
that is so evanescent?
each summer
the last summer

True Friend

I like you because of

who you are to me....

A true friend.

And if I don't get this

back I'll take the hint.

Remember:

"A good friend will

come bail you

out of jail....

But a true friend will

be sitting next to you

saying WE screwed

up, but we had fun!"

Proud To Be

Your Friend!

Hossein Panahi

Amordad 14th is the anniversary of The late Hossein Panahi, The famous actor and poet.

He composed beautiful and complicated poems with simple words.

Here is one of his poems

Eternity….
In the last moments of each journey
I check my all in the mirror:
-This dark soil, this earth, on my tired feet
-This shortness of sky, beyond my closed eyes

But, heart’s god
In the last journey,
In the mirror except the two eternal bounds
except Erath and Sky
Nothing is left….

I am lost, where
Haven’t you seen me?

Deceased 'Hossein Panahi'

The truth

 The TRUTH......
  Say what you want
Mean what you say
Remember the darkest
Lights of that day

Be who you are
Do as you please
The truth is going to
Bring you to your knees

The truth is that
That we all need
The truth is the end
Of a mystery

The truth is out there
You will see
The truth is out there
For you and me

The truth is out there
The search is not in vain
The truth is out there
Out there in the rain

Say what you want
But you better believe
The
truth is a goal
We all must achieve

poem

No new years's day

to celebrate
no chocolate covered candy hearts to give away
no first of spring
no song to sing
in fact here's just another ordinary day
No April rain
no flowers bloom
no wedding saturday within the month of June
But what it is
Is something true
Made up of these three words that I must say to you

I just called to say I love you
I just called to say how much I care
I just called to say I love you
And I mean it from the bottom of my heart

No summer's high
No warm July
No harvest moon to light one tender August night
No autumn breeze
No falling leaves
No even time for birds to fly to southern skies
No libra sun
No Halloween
No giving thanks to all the Christmas joy you bring
But what it is
Though old so new
To fill your heart like no three words Could ever do.

I just called to say I love you
I just called to say how much I care
I just called to say I love you
And I mean it from the bottom of my heart.

I just called to say I love you
I just called to say how much I care
I just called to say I love you
And I mean it from the bottom of my heart

Of my heart
Of my heart
